Day Two At GAFCON

I regret that I have not had very good Internet service.  The hotel is charginex way too much for it, so I am catching a free signal when I can.

Thanks so much for your prayers.  This is turning out to be a mighty event.  Last night we heard a marvelous address by John Senyonyi, president of Uganda Christian University, recalling the they’re of the East Africa Revial and calling us to recover its foundational emphasis on repentance at the foot of the cross of Jesus, the confession of sin, close fellowship in small prayer groups, and walking in humility.  These are timeless truths, boldly proclaimed.

There are 1350 delegates from 35 countries representing 27 provinces of the Anglican Communion.  This morning we were led in Holy Communion by the bishops from Nigeria.
