St Paul wrote to the new Christians in Galatia: Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2, NRSV).

At St Peter’s we believe this is not just good advice but an essential part of our calling.  That is why we have enrolled in Stephen Ministry as a congregation.  We have a number of trained Stephen Leaders and Stephen Care-Givers in order to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

This video below will give you an idea of what Stephen Ministry is all about.  It’s for people who are going through a “rough patch,” a loss, grief or transition or some other season of life in which you could use some support from a trained lay-person.
